Q4 2023 iOS Air Travel App Trends in Latin America

As the year 2023 came to a close, the air travel app market in Latin America saw user engagement and download trends that provide insights into traveler behavior. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how top iOS air travel apps performed during the fourth quarter.

LATAM Airlines, hailing from Chile, showed consistent growth in downloads, peaking at around 50K in late November, and weekly active users also followed an upward trend, reaching over 220K in the same period.

Mexico's Viva Aerobus: Fly! experienced a notable spike in downloads to nearly 20K in mid-November, with weekly active users hitting a high of over 65K around the same time, indicating a period of increased engagement.

Another Mexican contender, Volaris, saw downloads hover around 14K, with a surge to over 16K in mid-November. Active users showed a modest increase throughout the quarter, maintaining figures around the 33K mark.

Lastly, Aeromexico displayed steady downloads around 13K throughout the quarter, and its active users showed a slight increase, peaking at over 44K in mid-November.
